- Prepare the opening paragraph of your essay including your thesis statement. Bring one printed copy of this (typed, doubled-spaced) to your AUCW class on Monday, October 25. It is due at the start of class, and Prof. Garrison is going to count this as a quiz.
- Bring whatever you have done on this essay to class either in hard copy or on your computers for a mini-writing workshop; try to have at least one or two body paragraphs to look at (we're going to discuss incorporating evidence and developing topic sentences).
- Ignore what the syllabus says about readings and a reading quiz; I will be giving you an updated syllabus next week (no major deadline changes).
- Bring A Writer's Resource to class.
